Already 9 Months?

Phew, where do start!  Jack is the busiest guy I've ever seen.  He is constantly pulling himself up onto everything he can and then walks around all the furniture.  My bet is that he'll be walking in the next month or two.

Jack Attack is still doing great, curious as ever and is now starting to mimic like a pro.  Lately, his favorite foods are fresh peaches, bananas, guacamole, squash, zucchini, noodles, and crackers. He loves clapping his hands (even when he's crying haha), waving, and pointing.  He can even catch a ball consistently when I roll it to him, its amazing.  His favorite toy is any kind of ball- he gets so excited!  He keeps us on our toes every minute that he's awake.  He likes to carry his toys around and put them up on higher places.  He'll also stand up (holding onto something) for like, 10 minutes... what the heck?  What happened to my baby??  It's so fun to watch him develop!

  
 Jack and I were able to go to Washington for 2 and a half weeks to visit all of our family (both the Hillstrom's and the Adair's) and he was such a trooper. We had a great time with everyone and Jack had fun meeting all his cousins, aunts, and uncles!  Here he is with all of his Hillstrom cousins (except Emmie):

 

I'd say Jack's crawling days are almost over...

In other news, Dan broke his leg.  Yes.  Seriously.  He even had to get surgery this last Monday on his fibula because it was so bad: 

 

Dan's surgery went well, now it's up to recovering.  It's been stressful on all of us, but he's a stud and has such an amazing attitude on everything with life.  My goodness I love him!  Have we mentioned how much we love this little guy??
